The 2017 North American LCS Spring Split has been full of ups and downs in the last few weeks. We’ve seen FlyQuest move from second to seventh, CLG move from eighth to fourth, and everything in between. All this turmoil has created a slew of different playoff scenarios, and each and everyone of them will be decided this week.
In terms of gravity, the standout matches of the week are going to be the ones that pit teams next to each other in the standings head to head. These matches start early in the weekend with FlyQuest vs. Echo Fox on Friday. While there are other paths to the playoffs for FlyQuest, this series is an absolute must win for Echo Fox.
On Saturday, we have a series between Cloud9 and Phoenix1 that has the potential to decide second place in the split and determine which team gets a bye in the first round of playoffs. And finally, a Sunday match up between Team Dignitas and Immortals, that could be the deciding factor in whether or not either team makes the playoffs.
All games will be watchable on the Lolesports website, as well as on twitch at the NA LCS 1 and NA LCS 2 channels.
