Last week was one of the best for the North America LCS in recent memory. It had incredible come from behind victories, often in games with huge playoff implications. This week should be the perfect continuation of that with Team SoloMid playing two of the league’s best teams, while the recently struggling Phoenix1 look to pick up some wins without one of its star players.
TSM versus Cloud9 has been a special kind of rivalry since Cloud9 entered the LCS back in the summer of 2013. It was a rivalry born out of friendly competition and mutual respect, and it has made for some of the best NA LCS series ever. This week, their competition gets a new chapter as the teams meet again on Saturday. Unlike the last several, however, this time it is Cloud9 that will come in the favorite.
On Sunday, Team SoloMid will continue a difficult week as it takes on FlyQuest, who nearly overcame the unbeaten Cloud9 last week. With the TSM and FlyQuest heading into the week tied for second place, a win in this match could go a long way in terms of playoffs seeding.
All games will be watchable on the Lolesports website, as well as on twitch at the NA LCS 1 and NA LCS 2 channels.
