The ending of TSM/Immortals Game 1 was absolute madness

You have to see this to believe it.

Riot Games

Day three of NA LCS week one started off with an exhausting 52-minute back and forth game between Team SoloMid and Immortals.

The game started with solid play from Immortals as they took an early game lead putting TSM on the back foot and forced them to abandon their composition’s style. However, as the game wore on TSM settled into their comp and began farming up to try to regain the advantage. This led to defensive play from Team SoloMid attempting mostly to counter engages.

No example shows this better than the final fight of the game, a dramatic finish to what was an excellent match.

Immortals attempts to push into the TSM bottom inhibitor, but gets caught by TSM’s crowd control resulting in a 3 for 0 trade in favor of TSM. The two remaining players on Immortals, Eugene “Pobelter” Park and Cody Sun, made a split second decision to take a Ryze Realm Warp into the Team SoloMid base in an attempt to finish their exposed Nexus. However, Jason “Wildturtle” Tran backed and managed to defend the base finishing off the ace. The long respawn timers, and the full team being alive, meant that TSM could quickly push down mid and take out the Immortals base.
