The Mid-Season Invitational begins in a little more than a week and in preparation, Riot has let us know exactly who we can expect to see hosting 2018’s first international tournament.
This year’s on-air talent will include 19 casters, hosts, and analysts from around the world all ready to take us through the action. While there are 19 total, it’s likely that not every member of this cast is likely to show up in both the play-in stage of the tournament and the main stage.
Alongside the mainstays from North America and Europe, most of the talent included at the tournament should be fairly recognizable to most people who saw Worlds last year. Fan favorites like Indiana “Froskurinn” Black and Chris “Papasmithy” Smith will be joining the broadcast from the LPL and LCK, respectively. Meanwhile, both NA LCS’s James “Dash” Patterson and EU’s Eefje “Sjokz” Depoortere will be in attendance and likely sharing hosting duties throughout the event.
For a full list of on-air talent, you can check out Riot’s Twitter. The 2018 Mid-Season Invitational begins with the play-in stage on May 3, while the main stage will begin just a week later on May 8.
