Here are the teams participating in the 2018 Mid-Season Invitational

These teams all qualified through hard work!

Riot Games

The first half of the competitive season is coming to a close, which means it’s time for the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational. This year the Play-Ins and Group Stages will be held at the EU LCS studio in Berlin and the semifinals and finals will be held in Le Zénith in Paris. (This is the same place that All-Stars was at in 2014!)

The regions are all wrapping up their splits and the best of the best teams will be representing their regions to duke it out in Paris.

Play-In Round 1 Seeds

This set is played as a double round robin, best of one, split into two groups. The winner of the two groups move on to the second round.

  • Brazil (CBLOL): KaBuM! e-Sports
  • CIS (LCL): Gambit Esports
  • Japan (LJL): PENTAGRAM
  • Latin America North (LLN): Rainbow7
  • Latin America South (CLS): Kaos Latin Gamers
  • Oceania (OPL): Dire Wolves
  • Southeast Asia (GPL): Ascension Gaming
  • Turkey (TCL): SuperMassive eSports

Play-In Round 2 Seeds:

This set is played in a best of five, and two teams from the first round are randomly selected to play against the direct seeds. The two winners move on to the main event.

  • Taiwan/HK/Macao (LMS): Flash Wolves
  • Vietname (VCS): EVOS Esports

Main Event Seeds:

This is, again, a double round robin, best of one. The top four teams move on to the knockout stage, where they play best of fives in a single-elimination bracket.

  • China (LPL): Royal Never Give Up
  • Europe (EU LCS): Fnatic
  • Korea (LCK): Kingzone DragonX
  • North America (NA LCS): Team Liquid

This post will be updated as more teams qualify.
