The groups for the 2018 World Championship have been selected

Here are the full results of the Group Draw from the 2018 World Championship

Riot Games

The group draw for the 2018 World Championship happened over the weekend, and we now know exactly who will be facing off in the first couple of weeks of the tournament.

Play-In Stage

The first to compete will be all of the teams that are participating in the Play-In portion of the tournament. These teams will be in groups of three, and will each have the chance to play the other teams in their group twice. At the end of this, the two highest teams from each group will advance to the Knockout Stage and face off with the opposite seed from another group. The four remaining teams after the Knockout Stage will advance to the Group Stage of the World Championship.

Group Stage

As for the Group Stage, the teams will be divided into four groups of four teams each. Three teams have already been drawn into their groups and decided, while the final team in each group will be one that qualified through the Play-In stage.

Once again, these teams will play each other team in their group twice before the top two teams will move on to the Knockout Stage of Worlds 2018. From there, each team will compete head to head against another team in a best of five series, all the way up til the Finals.
