Europe’s horrible, no good, very bad first day at Worlds, as told in memes

Sorry, EU (we’re not sorry).

Well, Europe has gone all of the first day of Worlds without winning a single game, leading EU fans to feel the sting of salt rubbed into their wounds. First G2 Esports, the top-seeded EU team and two-time defending EU champions, was taken down by recently struggling CLG, fresh off a fourth-place finish in the NA LCS Summer Split.

Which leaves Europe in a state of wondering...is this what Worlds 2016 has in store for their region?

Next, H2K lost to AHQ after blwoing an early lead in a game that people expected to be close, but still, things were already looking pretty bad for Europe...

Perhaps the least surprising loss, but most crushing, has to be the one Splyce suffered against Samsung Galaxy. The hopes of the world rested on the shoulders of Wunder. Everyone rooting together for Kled to win his first professional game. But nooooooooope. So Kled looked a little...

So EU looked bad. Just really, not great. Maybe they need to have better communication?

Better rotations...

Or they could just play better...

Either way, they need to figure something out before they get the boot out of group stages.
