As expected, K/DA Ahri is also getting a Prestige Edition skin. Her new look is shimmering and gold like the others, but she also seems to have hacked off her hair and let her roots grow out a bit. It’s a look.
Riot Mort has taken to Twitter to confirm already that Ahri will be unlockable through the same method as the Prestige Blood Moon Aatrox skin, using Prestige Points. As a reminder, you can only get Prestige Points from buying loot box bundles, though Riot has confirmed in the past that they’ll be giving away a handful or so for free throughout various events in the year. There is also a chance that you can roll the skin through Hextech Crafting, if you’re really lucky.

The skin is a quality upgrade from the last two Prestige skins. Bloodmoon Aatrox and Firecracker Vayne’s Prestige Editions didn’t look much different from their original skins, other than a color palette swap, but K/DA Ahri’s Prestige skin seems to be rocking a new outfit and new hairstyle.

The skin will likely go on the Public Beta Environment for testing this week, with a launch in patch 9.5.
This post will be updated as more information becomes available.
Update (Feb. 22): Ahri’s colors and particles have been adjusted to give her a more champagne gold color. The images above have been updated to show this.
