Victorious Aatrox is season 9’s big ranked reward

This year’s big ranked reward for League of Legends will be a Victorious skin for Aatrox.

Victorious skins typically go to champions who made a big splash throughout the season, so Aatrox is a fitting choice.

To get Victorious Aatrox, players will have to be Gold 4 or higher in any of the ranked League of Legends queues by the end of the season, which ends on Nov. 19. If players hit Gold in more than one queue, they’ll get a special chroma skin to commemorate that. There is not a specific chroma for each ranked queue like there was in the past, however. Ranking Gold or higher in Teamfight Tactics will not reward Victorious Aatrox.

If you don’t own Aatrox already and you place Gold or higher, you will also get the champion unlocked for free.

The grind normally gets a little more hectic once the Victorious reward gets announced, so if you want the skin, you’ll want to get on the climb sooner than later.
