God King Darius and Garen skins are coming for the next Versus event

Riot posted a skin preview across the company’s social media on Tuesday morning, explaining the wolf and lion teaser we saw earlier. The trailer alluded to new skins for Darius and Garen: God King.

Garen has a regal lion motif and Darius has a darker wolf motif.

This post also confirmed that these skins are part of this year’s Versus event. Last year, we saw two matching skins between Yasuo and Riven, with the same event theme. Players were forced to pick a side and complete missions to earn thematically-fitting rewards.

Both skins are considered Legendary and should be tentatively priced at 1820 RP.

This is Garen’s ninth skin, with his last being Warring Kingdoms in January 2017.

God King is Darius’ seventh skin, with his most recent being the Hextech-exclusive Dreadnova skin from April 2017.

These skins should be making their way onto the Public Beta Environment and moving to live in patch 8.13.
