Dark Star Cho’Gath is the latest charity skin in League

All of the proceeds from the skin will go to local charities

Dark Star Cho’Gath has been teased on the League of Legends Twitter and it seems for one month, the proceeds will all be going to local charities.

The feedback post for the skin notes that the skin was made “with Bryan as part of The Make-A-Wish Foundation.” All the proceeds for this skin will go towards various local charities around the world, though which charities have yet to be announced.

This is Cho’Gath’s sixth skin, with his last being Prehistoric in June 2015. Dark Star looks pretty dang fancy and he really looks is a creepy alien I wouldn’t want to mess with.

The skin is tentatively priced at 1350 RP and it comes with a new recall, model, particles and all that fun stuff.

This add’s Cho to the Dark Star skin line, meaning he can match with Jarvan IV, Kha’Zix, Orianna, Thresh and Varus, who also have skins in the line.

This skin will be up on the Public Beta Environment soon for testing and will be launching later than expected. Rioter and skins QA Katey Anthony noted that the skin will be releasing in patch 8.13 (instead of 8.12) and will be on sale from July 13 until August 10.

This post will be updated as more information becomes available.
