Sivir, Pyke and Aatrox are joining the Blood Moon skin line with some sweet red designs. Aatrox is also getting a Prestige Edition of his skin, which means we can probably expect some kind of way to get it that involves tokens.
The skin line originally was created as costumes for Akali and Shen for when Ionia celebrates the Festival of Fire, but because of the lore retcon, we don’t really know how true that is anymore. Either way, Blood Moon skins have been released nearly every year and are obviously inspired by Japanese demons.
So far, the skins have released for Akali, Diana, Elise, Evelynn, Jhin, Kalista, Kennen, Shen, Talon, Thresh, Twisted Fate, Yasuo and Zilean. This huge number of skins makes it one of the biggest skin lines in the game, next to Arcade and Pool Party.
The pricing on these skins has yet to be announced, but we can probably guess that they’ll be 1350 RP each, due to the special recalls and models. The Prestige Edition Blood Moon Aatrox will probably be exclusive for crafting with event-based tokens. Riot Mort notes that the skin will not require a battle pass to get.
