Patch 8.9 is here with many meta-shifting changes because everyone likes a good shake-up. (No? Not everyone?) There’s mage changes, new skins, and the usual balance changes all ready to go.
The mage changes are heavily focused on mana. Most items have been tweaked in how they give mana and each mages has had their base mana and mana regen increased. To trade-off, all those champions also gain less mana per level.
In addition to these changes, we’ve got epic monster changes with Baron Nashor and the summoned version of Rift Herald working a little differently. Rift Herald now dukes out more damage but is more susceptible to attacks on her eye. Baron should be a little harder to take down in the early game.
This patch also comes with two skin releases: Blood Moon Evelynn and Beemo.
