Champion-specific micropatches have rolled out to help balance preseason

Lots of small fixes coming through!

Riot Games

Preseason just dropped on Wednesday and every champion got at least a small change to their base stats to make up for the new rune changes.

While the new rune system was heavily tested for about a month on the Public Beta Environment, it’s no surprise that a couple of OP or not-so-good changes slipped through, either pushing win rates way too high or dropping them way too low. With such a shake up, the balance team noted early that they’d be keeping a close eye on things this patch, sending out fixes when necessary.

The first batch of hotfixes have gone out, with more to come. However, it should be noted that the fixes for Diana and Rumble are more for bugs than they are balance changes.

Diana

Moonsilver Blade no longer applies a stack of Moonlight for 0.1 second after the third auto-attack.

Rumble

Rumble no longer gains the bonus shield twice for using Scrap Shield while on danger-zone
