How to change your League cursor back to the legacy option

If you miss that little glove, you can get it back

The updated cursor for League of Legends released on Wednesday with the rest of patch 8.14, but some are less than thrilled about the change. Luckily for you, Riot has made it easy to change back to the original gloved hand.

To do so, just do the following:

  1. Open your settings in-game. (This option isn’t in the client settings, so you have to do it while actually in a game. Practice Tool or a custom game works!)
  2. Select “interface.”
  3. Scroll down to “Legacy Cursor.”
  4. Tick that box!

After that, you and your beloved legacy cursor should be reunited. Riot hasn’t said anything about removing this feature, so you can just continue to use the original cursor forever if you’d like.

The new cursor might take some getting used to, but if you’re using the legacy version just because you can’t get used to the new one, we’d recommend pushing through. It’ll eventually be unnoticeable, so you might as well start adapting to the change now. (If you’re using the legacy cursor because you think the new one is ugly, that’s fair.)
