Do you remember when Talisman of Ascension was still in the game? That good, good support item that turned everyone into Sivir? Well, it’s coming back in the shape of Shurelya’s Reverie, a brand new item.
Added in Patch 8.6, Shurelya’s Reverie is a 2,100 gold item that builds out of Aether Wisp, Kindlegem, and 450 gold. It grants its owner 40 AP, 200 health, 10 percent CDR, and eight percent movement speed.
The real reason you want this item is for the active. When used, all allies around you will gain 40 percent movement speed instantly. This effect lasts for three seconds and only has a 60 second cooldown.
This is going to be an awesome pick up on engage/chase supports like Blitzcrank, Thresh, and Alistar. Of course, Reverie isn’t only useful for engaging. Unlike Righteous Glory, the movement speed is not conditional. You gain the bonus whether you are moving toward an enemy or not.
Supports have been missing this kind of weird pizzazz in their kits over the past several weeks. With Shurelya’s Reverie being added into the game, going fast is but a 2100 gold purchase away.
