Tales from the Rift 2018 event guide: Missions, crafting and more

Or Harrowing. Or Halloween. Whatever you want to call it

This year’s Halloween event is tied to the 2018 Worlds event. There’s no dedicated specific tokens for it or anything like that. Instead, you can collect Worlds Tokens and if none of the golden Championship chromas or any of the other Worlds stuff strikes your fancy, you can turn it into some spooky goods!

Note that Worlds-related crafting stuff is going to vanish when the tournament ends, but you can still use your Worlds Tokens to get this other event loot. K/DA stuff (aka this year’s swanky K-pop skin line) will be also available for crafting with Worlds Tokens starting on Nov. 4, so if you have your eyes on that stuff, you should save your tokens.

Missions

October 24, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. ET – November 4, 2018 at 2:59 a.m. ET

All of these missions will complete in 5v5 PVP matchmade games only!

A Spooky Intermission

Win a game AND Spend 12,000 gold

Reward: Purrfect Icon, 5 Worlds Tokens

Costume Party

Play with 50 players wearing a skin (counts yourself, allies, and enemies)

Reward: 10 Worlds Tokens

Definitely Not Summoner’s Rift

Win 2 games of any Non-Summoner’s Rift mode OR Win 4 Summoner’s Rift games

Reward: 10 Worlds Tokens

No Tricks, Just Treats

Consume an elixir AND Use 2 poro snax

Reward: 10 Worlds Tokens, 750 Blue Essence

That’s the Spirit

Win a game while wearing a skin OR Win 2 games in under 36 minutes

Reward: Worlds Orb, 5 Worlds Tokens

Crafting

Icon (50 Tokens)

Emote (100 Tokens)

Ward skin (150 Tokens)

Spooky Position Orbs (300 Tokens each)

These pumpkins have one random skin shard for the selected position, as well as a chance to get some Orange Essence. There’s also an upped rate on the chance to get a Gemstone or Mythic skin shard.
