Riot Games has announced officially that the 2018 ranked season will end on Nov. 12. They also announced all of the rewards coming in, including this year’s Victorious skin, which is going to Orianna.
Outside of the skin, Riot notes that the rewards will go as follows:
- Challenger: Victorious skin and chroma, summoner icon, honor ward skin, challenger backpack
- Gold or higher: Victorious skin and chroma, summoner icon, honor ward skin
- Bronze and Silver: Summoner icon, honor ward skin.
Yes, you read that right. This year, Riot will be sending Challenger backpacks to the players who make the top 200 on the ladder. You’ll be able to show off that you hit Challenger IRL, while also being able to hold your gear.

As usual, there will also be icons that show off your rank and division on them as well.

There will also be special honor ward skins to every ranked player who gets honor level three or higher. That being said, now is a good time to mention that you are only qualified for any of the ranked rewards if you’re a good egg. You can check out if you’re qualified or not from a badge on your profile in client.

Riot also notes that there will be upgraded flair for the profile badges, borders and that stuff. We kind of already knew that, but they also went on to say that there will now be a ranked display in your champ select!

There was also an announcement for special ranked missions to complete for sweet loot. With all this announced, that means preseason is just looming over the horizon. We don’t have an exact date for when season 9 will start either, but we’ll just have to wait and find out.
