Watch this intense 1 vs. 1 duel between Faker and Bdd

The LCK’s not back quite yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t see two of its best mid laners square off.

Look, we’re still a few weeks away from the start of the 2017 Spring League of Legends competitive season, so we have to find excitement where we can. Excitement in League can most reliably be found wherever SK Telecom T1 mid laner Sang-hyeok “Faker” Lee is playing.

In the clip above, via Reddit user tickoamy119, Faker squares off against new Longzhu Gaming mid laner Bo-seong “Bdd” Gwak, a 17-year-old top prospect in the LCK who had some impressive performances with CJ Entus last year and is a player many consider to be a possible contender to eventually take Faker’s throne as the best player in the world.

That’s ... not quite yet the case, as you can see by the duel that takes place. Faker’s Ekko appears to be caught out by Bdd’s Zed, but by using Chronobreak at the exact right time, he sheds Zed’s Death Mark and is able to set up a stun with Parallel Convergence to set up the killing blow.
