NA and EU Rift Rivals tournament to be held in Los Angeles, according to an on-stream slip

According to Phreak at least.

Riot Games

During the third place match on Saturday between Echo Fox and Clutch Gaming, caster David “Phreak” Turley let slip the location of the North American and European Rift Rivals tournament.

The tourney will be held in Los Angeles, according to Phreak’s slip, though the exact location has yet to be announced. He was speaking about Echo Fox jungler Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett’s play which would lead him to play on an international stage, though still in Los Angeles.

The past Rift Rivals between the two regions was held in Germany, so it’s North America’s turn to host the tourney.

Europe already has Fnatic, G2 Esports, and Splyce confirmed as North America’s opponents. North America will be sending off 100 Thieves, Team Liquid, and whoever wins the third place match to the tourney.

There has been no official confirmation about the location from Riot Games, but we should be expecting an announcement soon.
