Here’s the full LCS Schedule for Week 1 of the Spring Split

Riot’s two leagues are back in full swing this week along with the debut of the Academy League.

The 2018 competitive League of Legends season is finally here and while some regions, like the China’s LPL and Korea’s LCK, have gotten a few games in already, this weekend marks the openers for all of Riot’s LCS leagues.

This year, those leagues include the EU LCS, the NA LCS, and, the NA Academy League, which will make its stream debut on Friday, Jan 19.

This marks the first League of Legends season that franchising will be in effect for the North American LCS, meaning that teams no longer have the threat of relegation looming over their heads and are free to think about the development of their rosters over the long term, rather than finding success immediately.

The EU LCS will play its matches on Friday and Saturday, the Academy League will play matches on Thursday that will be available on VOD at a later time, as well as live broadcast matches on Friday. Meanwhile, the NA LCS will return to its old schedule of matches held on Saturday and Sunday. Each of these leagues can be seen on Riot’s twitch channels for their respective regions, EU LCS and NA LCS.
