SK Telecom T1 vs. KT Rolster 2017: How to watch the LCK Finals

Esports’ oldest rivals meet in the LCK Finals for the first time since 2015.

Riot Games

Few League of Legends rivalries have had as many amazing moments as kt Rolster vs SK Telecom T1. From the play that helped spark SKT’s first World Championship win, to a miraculous snipe that led to a reverse sweep, it’s a rivalry that never stops entertaining. Now, for the first time since the 2015 LCK Summer Playoffs the two teams will meet head to head in the Finals.

This year, the two teams come into the Finals from very different places. For SK Telecom T1, they haven’t played in 3 weeks, and when last we saw them they still seemed borderline unstoppable. Despite roster moves in both Top and Jungle that could have easily gone south, SKT has remained dominant throughout the season with only a few stumbles along the way.

For kt Rolster, on the other hand, the season has had plenty of ups and downs thanks to its new roster. Despite still ending the regular split in a respectable third place, the team often seemed to struggle with finding ways to effectively utilize their almost overwhelming talent. However, after a decisive 3-0 victory over regular season number two seed Samsung Galaxy, it seems possible that kt has worked out some of its issues and finally has five of the world’s best players on the same page.
