EDward Gaming walked away from a close game against MAD Team with a win and we grabbed mid laner Lee “Scout” Ye-chan for our Lightning Round.
If you haven’t been following our past interviews, it goes like this. We have a baggie of a growing number of questions from various people. Past Lightning Round stars have contributed to the bag, as well as Vox Media employees. The players just have to pluck the questions from the bag and answer as many as they can in the time we’re allotted.
Scout came out of his last game 5/2/9 on Syndra and played pretty dang well.
This interview has been edited for clarity and length. This interview was also done with a translator provided by Riot Games.
What is your favorite candle scent?
Scout: I’ve never bought one.
Which teammate would IRL team fight?
Scout: [laughs] Probably a western team, because their overall physical state is a lot better.
If you had to play a different game competitively, which would you pick?
Scout: Does it have to be a game that engages in competition? Or anything?
The Rift Herald: Anything!
Scout: I personally like RPG games, so I’d do one of those.
What is one food you would never eat?
Scout: I’m not sure how to phrase this, but I wouldn’t try well-known food that I haven’t tried before.
When playing FPS, do you use inverted Y-axis or no?
Scout: I like to play it normally.
If you could only play one champion for the rest of your life, who would you pick?
Scout: I’ll pick Syndra, who’s popular these days, because I think if I picked an assassin champion or one that’s heavily influenced by a meta, that’s not really good.

Coke or Pepsi?
Scout: Coke!
Do you prefer trains or planes?
Scout: Planes.
Who would you want to play you in a movie adaptation about your life?
Scout: I’m not really interested in movies or actors, but because I’m interested in foreign actors, I’d want a foreign actor to play me.
What was the last song stuck in your head?
Scout: Jonas Blue’s Mama.
The final task: Contribute a question to the bag to ask in future interviews.
Scout: Which country would you go to, if you were to go overseas?
