The week after a super-week — EU played eight series across four days last week — is always going to feel a little slower, but EU LCS in week 3 is front loaded with a few very strong matches. Meanwhile some of the league’s strongest teams may have a chance to experiment against weaker opposition.
The first two series this week are likely to be the most interesting. After a strong debut in the Summer Split of 2016 and a trip to Worlds it seemed natural that Splyce would come into this split as one of the top teams. Instead the first two weeks of the split have been a bit disappointing for them. Week 3 may be the perfect chance for them to get back on track though, as they face off against their group’s number one team Unicorns of Love. Meanwhile in the other group, Fnatic are in a similar position to Splyce as they take on Misfits, Group A’s second place team.
All games will be watchable on the Lolesports website, as well as on twitch at the EU LCS 1 channel.
