European League of Legends team Origen announced Tuesday that starting AD Carry Konstantinos "Forg1ven" Tzortziou will not be on the starting lineup for the remainder of the Summer Split due to "lack of motivation." Enrique "xPeke" Cedeño, the founder of Origen (and substitute mid laner), will replace him in the lineup until Origen finds a replacement.
Forg1ven posted a statement on his Facebook page saying that he was stepping down because he hasn't been able to focus on and enjoy the game.
After numerous talks we had i thought something needed to be changed and so i took the decision to take an indefinite break from League, since i was playing more Overwatch than the game i was being payed to play...
Forg1ven's first two series with Origen resulted in two disappointing losses for the team. He's had a complicated career, carrying the reputation as of the best mechanicals AD Carries in the West but also a brief suspension for toxicity and a tendency to move from team to team (Origen was his sixth since 2014).
Origen will be playing against Vitality on Thursday and FC Schalke 04 on Friday with their new roster. The whole week's scheduling can be found here.
