2018 NA LCS Summer Split Week 8: Schedule and preview

Who’s in and who’s out in the final week of the NA LCS playoffs?

Riot Games

The final week of the NA LCS 2018 Summer Split is here, and for some of the teams these two games could be the most important of their entire year. While Team Liquid and 100 Thieves are fairly comfortable in their playoff spot, just about everyone else is still scrambling for positions.

Among these mid-table teams are TSM and OpTic Gaming, currently tied for sixth place. One will go to playoffs, and one won’t. Thankfully, the two teams face off against one another on Saturday afternoon, so it will be easy enough to see who deserves postseason play.

Not far ahead of these two teams are Echo Fox, Cloud9 and FlyQuest, who are all stacked in third place with 9-7 records. While a few hard-earned wins could push any of them up as high as the first seed, two bad losses could also almost send them tumbling to the bottom of the playoff picture.

As always, this week’s NA LCS matches can be seen on the Riot games Twitch and YouTube channels as well as on lolesports.com.
