FlyQuest add Santorin and Konkwon to starting roster, Pekin Woof to Academy

Will this be enough to help FlyQuest get into the playoff hunt?

FlyQuest weren’t exactly the best team in the NA LCS last split. But with an eighth place finish and nearly enough wins to help them sneak into playoffs, they weren’t the worst either. With that in mind, FlyQuest are still heading into the upcoming Summer Split with some big changes for their roster, that were announced in a tweet on Tuesday night.

The first change most fans will notice is the addition of jungler Lucas “Santorin” Larsen. Larsen formerly played for TSM back in 2015, before bouncing between a few different teams, most recently as a sub for H2K Gaming over in Europe and Challenger team Gold Coin United before that.

Also joining the FlyQuest roster is support Kevin “KonKwon” Kwon. Kwon has played in North America since 2015 and has been a bit of a journeyman player, landing on the roster of six different organizations in three years. Kwon’s longest run with a team was his year long stint with Team Liquid last year, where he briefly played for the starting roster as well as the Challenger team, Team Liquid Academy.

Mid laner Isaac “Pekin Woof” Marconis, a player who has been in and out of the challenger series a few times over the last several years, is also joining the FlyQuest organization on their academy team.

While none of these players are the kind of superstar signing that might anchor a team, FlyQuest will be hoping that they can add consistency to the starting roster, something that was sorely lacking with their Spring Split team.
