Today, May 17, is IDAHOTB, also known as the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia. To celebrate this day and the diversity of our world, Riot is giving players a chance to buy the Rainbow Fluft summoner icon in the shop for only one Blue Essence.
Not only does this icon let you show solidarity in your solo queue games or with your friends, it’ll also net you a sweet rainbow effect when you spawn onto Summoner’s Rift.
This rainbow effect is only available for a limited time, as is the Rainbow Fluft icon. If you want to show your support for IDAHOTB, be sure to jump in and grab your icon soon, as it’s only available for the remainder of Patch 8.10.
It’s currently unknown if the rainbow animation will remain even if you buy the icon before the end of this patch, although it seems doubtful based on Riot’s wording. But still, two weeks of rainbow poros is always better than no weeks of rainbow poros.
