Echo Fox 3-0 Clutch Gaming to take third place in the NA LCS Spring Split

Echo Fox will be the final team to present North America at Rift Rivals later this year.

Echo Fox are the third place finishers for the 2018 Spring Split, after successfully defeating Clutch Gaming in a 3-0 series in Miami. Echo Fox will represent North America as the third place team at Rift Rivals — which will most likely be in Los Angeles.

In game one, Echo Fox got out to a dominant early lead thanks to a fantastic early game from jungler Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett who took over the game completely. The second game was more of the same as Hartnett once again took things over, playing the most dominant jungle game of the split so far, keeping his Clutch counterpart, Nam “Lira” Tae-yoo below level six for the first 10 minutes of the game.

Game three was a little more complicated — and not just because of the two pauses and a chronobreak that happened in the first 10 minutes of the game. While the early game lead wasn’t quite as large as in the other matches, it was certainly still present for Echo Fox, helping them push forward for a 24 minute victory and the official title of third place finish for the Spring Split.
