LCS Week 9: schedule, results, and more

It’s the final week of the LCS Spring Split and just a few matches stand between the top six teams of each LCS region and the playoffs.

In Europe, the race for playoffs is almost too close to call. With no team completely eliminated, the possibility of a massive eight team, day long tie breaker is looking more and more likely. In fact, every spot from third place to last place is still completely up for grabs.

Meanwhile, in North America, things are mostly decided. The one team whose fate remains most up in the air is Counter Logic Gaming. CLG’s most pivotal match up of the week is their face off against long time rivals TSM, who also sit directly on the playoff line. The two teams will face off on Sunday as one of the last regular season matches of the NA LCS Spring Split.

Any tie breakers that are required in any of the LCS leagues will be played after the final match on the league’s last competition day of the week. All matches will be streamed on the Riot Games YouTube channel, the Riot Games Twitch channel, and lolesports.com.
