kt Rolster signs Bdd and SnowFlower

kt adds one of the world’s best mid laners to an already impressive team

Riot Games

Worlds quarterfinalist team kt Rolster has filled in two more spots on its 2019 LCK roster with the addition of star mid laner Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong and support No “SnowFlower” Hoi-jong.

Bdd was formerly on KING ZONE DragonX and departs the team despite being in frequent conversation as one of the best League of Legends players in the world. However, after two fairly disappointing years, KING ZONE decided to refresh its roster, leaving the 19-year-old Bdd free to sign with kt. Entering the 2019 season, it’s likely that Bdd will be considered the best mid lane player in Korea, with SKT T1’s Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok as his only real competition for the title.

SnowFlower, on the other hand, has had career-full of journeying so far. Despite his young age, he’s competed with several teams so far including Afreeca Freecs, Jin Air Green Wings and, most recently, SuperMassive. During the Worlds 2018 Play-In stage, SnowFlower put up some fairly strong performances, despite his team’s lack of success.

Who exactly SnowFlower will be supporting remains the only question up in the air for the 2019 kt Rolster team. Returning from last year are top laner Song “Smeb” Kyung-ho and jungler Go “Score” Dong-bin, who both participated in kt’s impressive, if not somewhat disappointing, Worlds finish in 2018. Now with the addition of Bdd and SnowFlower, only the team’s ADC role remains vacant.
