The NA LCS finally returns on Friday after a week long break thanks to Rift Rivals. With an incredibly successful Rift Rivals tournament, in which North America’s three teams managed to completely dismantle Europe, TSM, Cloud9 and Phoenix1 should all three come back with new found invigoration after a slow start in the first five weeks of the LCS.
Speaking of Team SoloMid and Phoenix1, their head to head match up will be Saturday’s kick off. The series should provide the perfect chance for us to see just how far Mike Yueng has come after his fantastic Rift Rivals run and a couple successful weeks in the LCS.
The other team returning from Berlin is Cloud9, who won’t have an easy path through week six. Their first match is against Team EnVy, who are just one step below C9 in the standings, while their second match has them facing off against second place, Immortals, who have already defeated Cloud9 once this Summer Split.
