Echo Fox has finally announced the team’s roster for the 2018 season and boy, is it different from what the team was last year.
Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon will be playing top lane, Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett will be jungling, Kim “FeniX” Jae-hun will be playing mid and Johnny “Altec” Ru and Adrian Ma will be playing in the bot lane as AD Carry and support respectively.
Heo is coming back to the NA LCS after spending the last year in Korea playing for SKTelecom T1. He previously played for Immortals before that. Hartnett is coming from Team Liquid, though he played on both Immortals and Counter Logic Gaming throughout the 2017 season.
Kim is returning to the premier League after playing for Gold Coin United in the Challenger Series in 2017. He was known to be a strength on Team Liquid, famous for his kooky Azir plays.
In this post, Echo Fox also announced their 2018 Academy roster. That team consists of five relatively unknown players looking to grow their talent in the scene. In the top lane we have Kieran “Allorim” Logue. Jungling is Nathan “TheOddOrange” Ryan. The mid laner is Tanner “Damonte” Damonte. In the bot lane, Echo Fox has Lawrence “Lost” Hui on ADC and John “Papa Chau” Le on support.
In the announcement post for the full roster, team owner Rick Fox states that this new group will take Echo Fox to new heights. Echo Fox has struggled in years past, but this completely new roster might be the change they need to win.
