TSM announced on Tuesday that they have completed their 2018 roster with the signing of coaches Kim “Ssong” Sang-soo and Ham “Lustboy” Jang-sik.
Kim joins the team after a successful stint with former LCS team Immortals during the summer of 2017 when he took the team from 7th place in the Spring Split all the way to the World Championships. Previous to joining the North American team, Kim had coached successfully in Korea with the ROX Tigers organization taking them to Worlds in both 2015 and 2016.
Meanwhile, Ham has worked with TSM in several capacities before, but this will be the first time he joins the team as a full time coach. In the 2014 and 2015 seasons Ham played the support role for the team before heading back to Korea to coach. After hopping between teams there, Ham rejoined TSM as a remote analyst recently.
The pair will be coaching a version of TSM with quite a few changes from last year, as the North American champions picked up second year jungler Mike Yeung as well as the former G2 Esports, bottom lane Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen and Alfonso “Mithy” Aquirre Rodriguez, ahead of the 2018 season.
