Team Liquid finalizes starting roster with Impact

Top die?

Riot Games

Team Liquid has announced the final member of the organization’s starting League of Legends roster: Jung “Impact” Eon-yeong.

Jung is known for being one of the season 3 World Champions on SKTelecom T1, though he moved to North America in season 5. He played for Team Impulse and it’s rebrand, NRG Esports, before he moved on to Cloud9 in season 7. He attended Worlds 2017 with the team, where Cloud9 fought through Play-Ins and Group Stages before they were taken down by Team WE in the quarterfinals.

He is also popular among fans for his happy-go-lucky attitude and fun personality, coining the meme “top die” from his ability to easily solo kill enemy top laners.

The roster for the team also has jungler Jake “Xmithie” Puchero, mid laner Eugene “Pobelter” Park, AD Carry Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng and support Kim “Olleh” Joo-sung.

The announcement website has a small blurb that still says “coming soon,” so we can expect to see substitute or staff announcements soon.
