Former SKT jungler Peanut has joined Longzhu Gaming

Peanut will rejoin former teammates, PraY and GorillA on his new team.

Just a few days after 2017 World Championship runner-up SK telecom T1 announced the departure of jungler Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, the 19-year-old has been signed by fellow LCK team, Longzhu Gaming.

Han’s final match with SKT came in the World Championship Finals, where the team were swept by Samsung Galaxy. While generally finishing the season as the second best team in the world would be considered a success, it was SKT’s first ever loss in the four world Finals the team has attended.

Han first made a name for himself playing with Korea’s ROX Tigers a team that was frequently one of the best teams in the LCK. Han was most known for his aggressive style, something that was almost non-existent during his time on SK telecom. Longzhu Gaming on the other hand, was well known for its aggressive play style throughout 2017.

On Longzhu, Han will be joining former ROX Tigers teammates AD Carry, Kim “PraY” Jong-in and support, Kang “GorillA” Beom-hyeon. He will be replacing jungler Moon “Cuzz” Woo-chan who was a notably weak link on what was otherwise one of the strongest teams in the world in 2017.
