This is the second time in a year that Peng has joined Team Liquid after ending his retirement early to help the team in their battle to avoid relegation after the Spring Split of 2017. While that move was only temporary, as he rejoined TSM for the 2017 Summer Split, he will now be joining Liquid in a more permanent way as Peng and the team agreed to a three year deal.
Peng has long been considered one of the premier AD Carries in North America winning split titles with both Counter Logic Gaming and TSM as well as attending Worlds with both teams. Peng has been the North American representative to All-Stars for the 2013, 2014 and 2015 events.
Peng was streaming during the announcement and showed off his new team’s look just after the announcement was made public.
