Team SoloMid has announced that the organization has acquired former Phoenix1 jungler Mike Yeung on their League of Legends team.
Yeung is a jungler with an aggressive playstyle known for his Nidalee in solo queue, which he brought on stage in eight games during his time on Phoenix1. He was also Rookie of the Split in the 2017 Summer Split, with a 4.39 KDA.
Phoenix1 faced relegation at the end of the 2017 Summer Split, though the team avoided it by beating out Gold Coin United and eUnited. He sported a KDA of 4.55 during the promotion tournament, the second highest on the team next to mid laner Yoo “Ryu” Sang-wook.
Former Team SoloMid Dennis “Svenskeren” Johnsen is no longer on the team and will be playing jungle for Cloud9 instead come 2018 as a replacement for Juan “Contractz” Garcia. Yeung has officially replaced Johnsen as Team SoloMid’s starting jungler.
