The new esports team branched off of the Cleveland Cavaliers, 100 Thieves, has announced three members of their line up. Yoo "Ryu" Sang-wook will be their mid laner, with Kim "Ssumday" Chan-ho as their top laner and William “Meteos” Hartman in the jungle.
Yoo played for Phoenix1 in season 7 and Kim came from Team Dignitas. Considering that all three of these players no longer had a team, it’s no surprise that they were snatched up quickly.
While Hartman was also a member of Pheonix1 last season, he only started three games for the team during the duration of the Summer Split, losing all three. During the Spring Split Hartman was slightly more successful, starting almost half of the team’s games and ending the split with a winning record. He’s definitely the surprising pick up out of the three.
Both Yoo and Kim are both considered Korean imports still, which means 100 Thieves remaining roster will have to consist of North American players, if the rules remain the same.
