When I first started playing League of Legends more seriously last year, one of the first champions I was told to try out was Ashe. She is, friends assured me, a great introduction to the AD carry role, a consistently strong character and also a champion whose abilities aren’t all that complicated or difficult to learn.
To this day, Ashe remains one of my favorite champs, but one of the great things about League of Legends is that even the easiest-to-learn characters still have a lot of hidden depth.
