Fnatic-H2K quarterfinal moved to Tuesday after ‘unresolved tech issue’

An audio issue for Fnatic prevented the series from being played.

Sunday’s scheduled quarterfinal between fourth-seed H2K and fifth-seed Fnatic has been postponed until Tuesday August 16 after an audio issue caused multiple hours of delays.

The teams went into picks and bans for Game 1, nearly finishing the team compositions before an audio issue on Fnatic’s side caused a pause. The EU broadcasting team admirably filled in for about two hours of delay before it was announced the game would be postponed.

In true EU fashion, the tie jokes came flying.

The winner of the H2K vs. Fnatic series will play second-seeded Splyce next week.

Sunday’s NA LCS quarterfinal match between Team Liquid and Counter Logic Gaming will go on as scheduled at 3p.m. ET.
