The domestic League of Legends playoffs in China have kicked off, with eight teams competing for the LPL crown and a coveted No. 1 seed at Worlds. For more on Worlds qualifying, including how it works and the current standings, click here.
Regional powers EDward Gaming and Royal Never Give Up enter the tournament as heavy favorites, having both won their respective groups in the regular season. EDward Gaming went a perfect 16-0 (32-5 in games), while RNG went 13-3 (29-11). Team WE, who finished second in Group B behind RNG, is probably the most likely outside contender to the crown, posting a 10-6 (24-16 record during the regular season).
Either way, it should be a fun tournament, with plenty of fighting and a good luck at these teams before three of them end up at Worlds.
