Odoamne says H2K didn’t practice with Forg1ven before perfect 5-0 weekend

Who needs practice?

Riot Games

Coming into the final weekend of regular season action, H2K hadn’t even locked up a playoff spot yet. The team was 5-6-5 with a pair of potentially difficult matches against Unicorns of Love and Origen, and needed a strong performance for a favorable seeding.

That weekend looked to be potentially even more difficult because of a last second roster change: former H2K AD Carry Konstantinos "FORG1VEN" Tzortziou would be returning to the starting lineup, replacing the injured Aleš "Freeze" Kněžínek. FORG1VEN is regarded as one of the most mechanically gifted players in the West, but any time a team adds a new player there can be problems with synergy (even though FORG1VEN was on the starting roster last split).

Turns out H2K didn’t even get to practice with FORG1VEN before the weekend! But any concerns were for naught, as H2K went 5-0 by sweeping UOL and Origen and defeating Fnatic in a fourth-place tiebreaker.

Andrei "Odoamne" Pascu talked with theScore esports' Marcel "Dexter" Feldkamp (a former pro himself) about the weekend’s matches. The interview took place before the team’s tiebreaker win against Fnatic. Check it out here!
