Kennen disabled due to invisible ultimate glitch in Vitality vs. Roccat game

The eyes never lie!

Riot Games

In game one of the Vitality vs. Roccat series, Lucas "Cabochard" Simon-Meslet locked in Kennen and the game was played out despite a bad bug.

On multiple instances, Cabochard uses his Hextech Protobelt-01 to jump into the fight and use Slicing Maelstorm, an ability that normally has a huge circle-shaped electrical field pop up. When players see that, they know to get out.

However, when it was casted in this game, there was no indicators of his ultimate being casted.

The match was then paused six minutes later when it happened again to determine if there should be a remake. The game continued nearly 20 minutes later because Roccat did not pause and report the visual bug when it happened before. Because they waited too long to report the bug, they had to finish playing out the game.

Caster Mitch "Krepo" Voorspoels said that he thought that regardless of if Roccat had the indicator or not, they probably would have had the same outcomes from those fights anyway.

What caused the bug is unknown, but Kennen will be disabled for the rest of the weekend.
