EU LCS Week 2 Day 1 guide: VIT vs. Origen, Fnatic vs. UOL, Splyce vs. FC Schalke 04 VODs and scores

Everything you need to know from Thursday's action.

Riot Games

Only one team emerged unscathed from the first week of the European League Championship Series: G2 Esports, the preseason favorites now sitting pretty at 2-0. G2 and the rest of Europe will head back to the Rift Thursday as games kick off in the second week of action.

Origen will hope to improve on its awful 0-2 start, and will be doing so with a new starter at AD Carry. Offseason acquisition Konstantinos "Forg1ven" Tzortziou stepped down from the team due to a lack of motivation (and too much playing Overwatch), and will be replaced by team founder/owner Enrique "xPeke" Cedeño. Origen will face off against Vitality, one of the top teams from last split, in one of the day's highlighted matchups, while an under-the-radar marquee series will be red-hot FC Schalke 04 against improving Splyce.

The games will be played on Patch 6.11, the first LCS games played on the new patch. All games will be streamed live on the Lolesports website and on Youtube and Twitch (EULCS1and EULCS2).

Below, we will keep this post updated with the VODs for each game, as well as results and box scores. If you are hoping to avoid spoilers, do not click the "show/hide series results" button below each set of VODs. If you do want to know the results, click away!
