Big reported Cloud9 changes. ESPN's Jacob Wolf reports Cloud9 has finalized a deal with former Worlds-winning top laner Impact, which has plenty of fallout for the rest of the roster due to NA's maximum of two imports on a starting roster. That means Meteos is expected to rejoin the starting lineup, sending Rush to down to C9's new Challenger squad. He'll be joined by three other former C9 starters and former Gravity/NRG AD Carry Altec, resulting in one of the most stacked Challenger lineups ever.
Two rumored additions for NRG. Again from Jacob Wolf of ESPN, reporting longtime Dignitas support KiWiKiD "plans to join NRG." Wolf also reports NRG will look to replace Impact with former Team Liquid top laner Quas.
Team Dignitas is no more. At least in North America, that is. After getting relegated from the NA LCS at the end of the Spring Split, Dignitas has reportedly sold its Challenger Series spot to Apex Gaming, the team replacing Dignitas in the LCS.
Big EU departure. Former Moscow Five and Unicorns of Love jungler Diamondprox will be leaving the region after visa issues left him ineligible for most of last split. He is planning on coming to North America, but may end up on a Challenger team due to the high number of LCS teams with both import spots filled.
Roster change for Splyce. Starting support Nisbeth is out, in favor of rookie Mikyx. Mikyx is Slovenian, so Splyce's roster will no longer be 100 percent Danish.
UBC repeats as collegiate champs. Last season, UBC swept Robert Morris in the NACC Finals. This year, it was a 3-1 win.
