The first of two LCS third-place matches Saturday takes place in Rotterdam, as Fnatic takes on H2K for third place in the EU Spring Split.
Fnatic upset third-seeded Vitality in the first round of the playoffs before losing to G2 in the semifinals. This is the first LCS split ever that Fnatic will not be playing in the finals.
H2K entered the playoffs as one of the heavy favorites to win it all, but was upset by Origen in the semifinal round. H2K still has a stacked roster, and likely enters Saturday as a heavy favorite once again -- although you can never count out Fnatic in a best-of-five series.
We'll keep this post updated as the VODs come in, without spoilers (there will be a different post updating with live results after each game).
What matchups are you looking forward to today? What's your prediction? Personally, I'm looking forward to the matchup in the jungle between Jankos and Spirit and the bottom lane matchup, and I'll predict Fnatic wins in a five-game series.
