Update: Zz’Rot Portal has been re-enabled!
Zz’Rot Portal. You know it, I know it, we all know it. To some, it’s one of the most annoying items in the game, effectively giving a team an extra person in the form of minion pressure. To others, it’s an easy way to climb the ranked ladder against players that don’t know how to handle their side waves.
If you’ve played League over the last day or so, you may have noticed Zz’Rot Portal has been disabled. That’s because of a pretty serious bug that could be exploited for major gain.
The bug was first brought to the community’s attention on Reddit, after user R4gon encountered a Blitzcrank in his game exploiting the bug. Basically, if you place the portal at the exact right spot next to your inhibitor, it bunches your minions inside your base, until they all eventually release in a horde of unstoppable death.
Via Reddit user esoemah, here’s the exact spot the Portal needs to be placed for this to happen. Fair warning: doing this in a game is a bannable offense (although since Zz’Rot is now disabled, you probably don’t have to worry about it).
