Day three of the 2016 League of Legends World Championships kicks off at 7 p.m. EST, with a day full of important games for group stage standings.
In the second game of the day, European champions G2 Esports will look for their first Worlds win, while ROX Tigers will hope to remind everyone why they came into this tournament as favorites to win it all. In the day’s third match Cloud9 and the Flash Wolves will both try for their first win, with the loser being in a dangerous 0-2 position at the bottom of Group B.
The day’s second to last match will feature some good old fashion NA vs. EU action with Team SoloMid facing Splyce. Splyce head coach Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi told us despite Splyce’s 0-2 start, the team is confident about its Worlds future. While in the final match Se-hyeong “Mata” Cho and Hyeong-seok “Looper” Jang go up against their old club in Royal Never Give Up vs. Samsung Galaxy.
For more information on the teams involved you can read our previews for Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D.
The third day of group stage matches will also feature a series of streams that highlight different roles and aspects of the game, as well as feature different guest casters.
